Kitesurfing
The wide sandy bay and frequent wind make Essaouira a good place to learn. Further north, Moulay Bouzerktoune draws experienced riders looking for waves.
Surfing
On small days, Essaouira bay is fine for beginners. When the waves are more consistent, Sidi Kaouki, half an hour south, is the schools’ favourite spot.
