How do I get to Essaouira?
Via Essaouira-Mogador airport (direct European flights depending on the season) or via Marrakech airport and then about 3 hours by bus or private transfer.
How many days should I stay?
Three to five days lets you enjoy the medina, the beach, a watersport and a trip into the countryside.
Is it always windy?
Wind is frequent, especially in spring and summer, which kitesurfers love. There are also calm days, more of them in autumn and winter.
Can you swim?
Yes, but the Atlantic is cool and there are often waves and currents: swim near supervised areas in season and follow local advice.
