Getting there
About 25 km south of Essaouira, a half-hour drive through the argan trees. By private transfer, taxi, or on horseback from Diabat for experienced riders.
What to do
Surf lessons with a school, long beach walks, horse or camel rides, and sunset over the Atlantic. A few cafés and restaurants serve fish and tagines.
When to go
All year, bearing in mind the wind often picks up in the afternoon. Surfers come mostly in autumn and winter, families in spring and summer.
